FAFSA Completion Night; WHEN: Monday, January 13th at 6:00 PM; WHERE: Linden High School, Room B108; WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Seniors and their parents/guardians; WHY ATTEND: A college financial aid officer will be available to assist families in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Each family who submits the FAFSA application at the event will receive a $50 gas card. IMPORTANT INFO: Students and parents, please create your FSA ID now, if you haven't done so already. FSA IDs need to be created at least 3 days before the event to complete the FAFSA application on FAFSA Night. SOPHOMORE PARENT NIGHT - Wednesday, January 29th at 6:00 PM in the Linden High School Auditorium. The purpose of this event is to provide information about the variety of educational options available to current 10th-grade students as they enter their junior year of high school. GCI, traditional dual enrollment (UM-Flint and Mott), early college, and Advanced Placement (AP) will be discussed. Staff will be available to answer individual questions after the presentation. If your GPA is a 3.0 or higher, you are eligible to participate in an all-expenses-paid trip to sunny Arizona to visit Grand Canyon University. GCU will arrange and pay for your transportation including flights and airport transportation (to and from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to GCU's campus), meals during your visit, and your sleeping accommodations.
