Graphic Arts 2 students tediously arranged words to make up an image of their eye. The words they used are words or characteristics of themselves.
Exploratory Art at the high school reviews the elements & principles of art and design throughout the semester, but the ultimate goal is to learn how to apply them in the artwork. Students used mixed media to create abstract collages that represent one the of principles of design: Balance, Contrast, Emphasis, Pattern, Unity, Movement, and Rhythm. Can you guess what each one is representing?

The Debate class held a mock trial. The Once-ler was on trial, and celebrity Lawyer Elle Woods represented her client. The Lorax provided testimony against The Once-ler. Thank you to all who helped, including Mr. Burhans and Mr. DeLeon who both served as witnesses.
