Thank you to Patrick Flores-Scott, author of Jumped In, for visiting with our LHS students on Tuesday, September 28! He shared his experiences as an author and provided us with a lesson on creativity. This program was funded by a grant from the Michigan Humanities Council.

The deadline to request participation in voluntary Fall State Testing (SAT/PSAT) is tomorrow September 14th. The actual test date will be Wednesday, October 13th. Those interested should complete the request form. Requests received after September 14th will not be processed due to test ordering deadlines.

On behalf of LHS, I wanted to pass along a thank you to all students regarding the manner in which they handled themselves today with the GCHD health order. Agree or disagree, it was great to see LHS students and teachers in classrooms!
LHS return to school on Tuesday, September 7th! As a reminder, the GCHD has issued a Health Order requiring facial coverings for 9-12th grades students, staff, and all visitors. Please remember your face covering. We will have them on hand if needed.
