REMINDER:
LHS will have a 1/2 day schedule tomorrow September 17, 2025.
Our daily schedule will begin at 7:35 am, and conclude at 10:49 am. Transportation will be running in the morning and afternoon.
Our schedule will resume on Thursday, September 18th.


Junior and Senior girls take the field on September 23rd for the annual LHS Powder Puff Game. Good luck to all! The Homecoming King will be announced during halftime.


LHS Spirit Week starts Monday. Here is a list of events and spirit dress days.


The LHS FRONT ENTRANCE concrete, flagpole, and landscaping project begins tomorrow, September 16.
Phase 1 will begin on Monday, September 16 and last approximately 2-3 weeks. Information regarding Phase 1 is provided below.
Phase 2 will begin after the completion of Phase 1 and last approximately 1-2 weeks. Phase 2 reminders will be shared as the first phase nears completion.
PHASE 1
The red area in the photograph below will be fenced off and inaccessible. Phase 1 will result in some needed adjustments to entering and exiting the school building for the next few weeks. It will not impact students that drive themselves, or parent drop off/pick. It primarily impacts the drop off and pick up locations for school buses. The information provided below, and the photograph will hopefully assist throughout Phase 1:
During this phase the MAIN ENTRANCE can still be used to enter and exit the building using the secure vestibule for GCI students and visitors.
The main office can be accessed using the MAIN ENTRANCE.
The STUDENT PARKING LOT will be available for those students who have a current parking pass, and the STUDENT ENTRANCE will be available to enter and exit as normal.
THE EVENT ENTRANCE WILL NOT BE ACCESSIBLE DURING PHASE 1 OF THE PROJECT DURING THE SCHOOL DAY, OR FOR AFTER-SCHOOL EVENTS.
BUS TRANSPORTATION:
Students riding the following buses must use the MAIN ENTRANCE to enter and exit:
ORANGE TRIANGLE
ORANGE HEART
GREEN STAR
GREEN MOON
Students riding the following buses must use the LAA Entrance to enter and exit:
