Linden Varsity Girls Soccer traveled to Lapeer last night for their first game of the season. Despite cold temperatures and challenging conditions, the girls showed resilience in their match against Lapeer High School. Though the game ended in a 4-0 loss, the Eagles pushed through, growing stronger as a team with every minute on the field. As the game progressed, they found their rhythm, working together and learning valuable lessons only giving up one goal in the second half. MVP for the match goes to Gigi Boser who made her first varsity debut as a freshman and as her first time ever playing center back. She battled through early nerves to show incredible grit, hard work, and heart. Despite the 4-0 loss, she never backed down, growing stronger as the game went on and proving her potential in a tough matchup. Despite the tough loss we're proud of the girls hard work and refusal to quit even from behind. The team looks ahead to building on their progress in the next match at home against Flushing on April 7th! 🔥⚽ #LindenSoccer #EaglePride #StrongerTogether #ProgressNotPerfection
