Due Dates and Late Fees

Library Materials
Items borrowed from the library are assigned a due date 15 school days from the date of checkout.  Students may self-renew all borrowed materials for an additional 30 school days using their online Destiny account.  Late fees are charged for items that are overdue at the rate of five cents per school day.  Late fees do not accrue on weekends, holidays or snow days.

Textbooks
Required textbooks for courses are distributed from the Textbook Center inside the Media Center.  Textbooks are due at the end of each semester or when a student drops that class.  Many courses use different textbooks from one semester to another.  Students can verify the due date of each textbook assigned to them by accessing their online Destiny account. Students are given a 5 day grace period at the end of each semester for returning textbooks.  Late fees are assessed at the rate of a maximum of $5 per book for each book that is not returned within the grace period.
