Fall Season 2024 - State MHSEL Rocket League Champs!
From Ryan Cayce, Director of MHSEL:
It was an amazing experience for these esports athletes to see each other in person after competing against one another virtually during the season. They played in the GrizzDen and Habitat gaming/auditorium areas at the Oakland Center and had live-streamed “shout casting” (announcers) on stage in front of spectators, including college scouts. MHSEL continues to grow; this fall season’s enrollment numbers had a record-setting 86 schools enrolled, 465 teams competing and more than 1,500 students engaged.
The Rocket League semi-final matches featured Marquette vs Linden and Hartland vs Detroit Catholic Central. After some great matches, Hartland and Linden were victorious and faced off in the championships. Linden defended their spring title and was again crowned the Fall 2023 Michigan High School Esports League Rocket League Champions!
